Foods for Hypothyroid and Adrenal Fatigue
After tons of research to find foods that are good for me and foods to avoid I have compiled a list of the items I keep stocked in my pantry and fridge, or buy when they are on sale or in season.
- Apples
- Pears
- Raspberries

- Lemons and/or Limes
- Green Beans
- Corn (Frozen is okay)
- Peas (Frozen is okay)
- Red Peppers
- Green Peppers
- Zucchini
- Summer Squash
- Eggplant

- White or Sweet Potatoes (as a treat)
- Onion
- Chives or Scallions
- Rosemary
- Thyme

- Jelly sweetened with Fruit Juice

- Canned Tomotoes (crushed or whole plum)
- Tomato Paste
- Sundried Tomatoes
- Fresh Olives
- Kidney Beans

- 85% Hamburger
- Ground Buffalo (mixed with the 85% for flavor with less fat)
- Ham
- Italian Sausage
- Bacon
- Chicken Breast (Note: Boneless is okay. Or try split breasts and debone yourself. It's really pretty easy to do, it costs much less than boneless, skinless, and it taste much better!)
- Whole Milk Yogurt
- Whole Milk Sour Cream
- Whole Milk, or Raw Milk if you can find it
- Half and Half
- Heavy Cream
- Butter
- Omega 3 Eggs
- Cheddar Cheese
- Harvarti
- Any Cheese that's on sale and looks great
