Find or Share a Good Doctor who Treats Adrenal Fatigue and Hypothyroidism
Doctors have different treatment approaches (nope, its not one-size-fits all). So finding a doctor who sees things the way you do, and is willing to work with you, is super important. Interview them kindly, of course, doctors are people too. They aren't gods and they aren't perfect. You know your body better than anyone, so be a good friend and start listening to yourself!
Go through the check list for Hypothyroidism and Adrenal Fatique. Take your body temperature and know what lab work you need for your visit (more to come on this). Remember, your doctor is you guide and teacher, you are going to be working together for a long time. If the doctor doesn't make you feel this way look for another one!
Save yourself time, money, and most important SAVE YOUR ENERGY! Start by calling doctor's offices and simply ask:
• Will they treat Hypothyroidism with Natural Desiccated Thyroid Hormone?
• Will they do a Saliva Test and treat for Adrenal Fatigue, if needed?
Asking the local health food store for alternative medicine or integrative medicine doctors is one simple step. Here are some online resources for finding a doctor in your area. The results are spotty, so help us if you know a good doctor.
